| The Fieldmouse Urn In 1909 the Bromsgrove Fieldmouse Urn was described as a perfect ornament for the modern garden. It is a gracefully curved octagon. Each section of the octagon is relieved with images from nature in cable patterned surrounds. The images include those of a thrush, a dove, a frog and a squirrel. Secondary panels contain images of an oak leaf with acorn, grapevines, a Tudor rose and a Scottish thistle. A field mouse whimsically decorates the side and a Celtic-inspired frieze decorates the rim. It offers a large planting area and sufficient volume to support larger plants. |
